This product helps find belongings. Location updates are not always live or continuous. It is not a child-location or emergency-safety device.

Before you start

Four quick checks.

  1. 01Keep your phone unlocked and close to the Tracker Tag.
  2. 02Turn on Bluetooth, Location Services, and Wi-Fi or cellular data.
  3. 03Sign in to your Apple Account or Google Account before starting.
  4. 04If your tracker has a clear battery pull-tab, remove it. Set up one tracker at a time.

ANDROID PHONES

Android Tracker Tag

Use the included Android-compatible tracker with Google’s Find Hub.

  1. 1Open the Find Hub app and sign in with your Google Account.
  2. 2Turn on Bluetooth and Location Services on your Android phone.
  3. 3Remove the battery pull-tab if present, then follow the included tracker card to put the device in pairing mode.
  4. 4Follow the pairing prompt on your phone. Name it something clear, such as “Soccer Backpack.”
  5. 5Open the item in Find Hub and tap Play sound to test it.

Android tracker models can vary. If the pairing screen uses different words, follow the included device card or the prompt shown by Find Hub.

APPLE IPHONE / IPAD

Apple-Compatible Tracker Tag

Use the included non-Apple-branded device with the Apple Find My app.

  1. 1Remove the battery pull-tab if present, then use the included card to make the tracker discoverable.
  2. 2Open Find My on your iPhone or iPad and choose Items.
  3. 3Tap +, then choose Add Other Item.
  4. 4Tap Connect, name the item, and choose an emoji if you would like.
  5. 5Tap Continue to register it to your Apple Account, then tap Finish.

A compatible item that is already connected to another Apple Account must be removed from that account before it can be added to yours.

APPLE IPHONE / IPAD

Apple AirTag Edition

Use the genuine Apple AirTag included with your Tracker Tag order.

  1. 1Hold the AirTag near your unlocked iPhone or iPad.
  2. 2When the setup card appears, tap Connect.
  3. 3Select an item category or choose a custom name, such as “Soccer Backpack.”
  4. 4Tap Agree or Continue to link it to your Apple Account.
  5. 5Tap Done, then open Find My → Items and test Play Sound.

Apple says AirTag setup requires an iPhone or iPad with iOS or iPadOS 14.5 or later.

Do a 30-second test.

Make sure your Tracker Tag is ready before the next practice, school day, or trip.

Confirm the item appears in Find Hub or Find My. Rename it for the bag it is attached to. Test Play Sound while it is nearby. Keep the setup card with the order materials.

Still not connecting?

  1. Move the Tracker Tag closer to the phone and make sure only one new tracker is nearby.
  2. Check Bluetooth, Location Services, internet connection, and Apple/Google account sign-in.
  3. Restart the phone, then try pairing again.
  4. For Android and Apple-compatible trackers, use the included device card for the exact activation or reset method for that model.
  5. If it still will not connect, contact Creo Labs Studio through the order channel before trying to force or open the device.
